In 2018, Norwegian cross-country skier Johannes Høsflot Klæbo won the gold medal in the men's sprint event at PyeongChang, making him the youngest male ever to win an Olympic cross-country skiing event. During the 2018 Olympics in PyeongChang, he won two more gold medals, tying with French biathlete Martin Fourcade for the most gold medals won at the 2018 Games.
At the 2022 Beijing Olympics, he continued his dominance, winning two more gold medals, one silver, and one bronze.
