In this video we pretend to be a semi truck driver to help restock a toy store. Dad’s out of Bruder construction trucks, and orders more for a toy factory. We drive a kids ride on eighteen-wheeler / tractor trailer to make the delivery. We also play with our Bruder trucks to simulate a weight station and construction site.
Dad opens a toy shop, but he’s out of stock when a customer comes in. He orders a fresh load of toys from a factory. We start by hooking up our ride on semi truck to a semi trailer. Kid Crew backs the fifth wheel of the truck under the trailer and then lowers the landing gear to engage the king pin. Then we need to hook up the trailer electrical connector, and glad hands for trailer air brakes. Trucks (and trains!) use air to help actuate brakes instead of hydraulics. After everything is hooked up, we complete a pre-trip to ensure the lights are working. Then we drive the truck to the factory to get loaded up. First we unlock the lock on the back of the truck, then load 12 Bruder trucks into the trailer. Then we drive down the open road to the toy store and help unload at the toy store. As the Kid Crew leaves the toy store, a customer comes into the store and buys a toy. Then we make change at the cash register. Next, we play a fun game at home with a toy construction site with Bruder construction truck toys. A mini excavator is used to dig a boat ramp at a farm, but isn’t getting through quick enough. So we order a large excavator and it’s loaded on flatbed semi truck for delivery. But on the way, it gets diverted to Weight Station operated by the Police. The truck is overweight on its drive axle though, so the officer suggests rebalancing the load. They do it and then pass through the weight station. Then they deliver the excavator and start digging. After digging for the boat garage, we fill it with pretend cement made of mud. In the educational segment we learn how weigh stations work.
Come pretend play with us! Join us kids, toddlers, girls, and boys as we use our ride on toy trucks, toy tractors, and toy equipment to do construction, farming, and home improvement pretend play projects. While we play our games and drive our vehicles, we learn about engineering, science, STEM, and how things work in our educational segment. Thank you for watching Kid Crew!
