In today's exciting episode of our phonics adventure, we continue to strengthen our reading skills! We kick off with a fun review of the sounds we've learned so far. Get ready to say them faster and faster! Then, we dive into the special sound of the day: the 'all' sound. We practice saying it together, and then we go on a treasure hunt in our magic box to find objects that start with the 'all' sound. With a sprinkle of phonics magic, we sort out which items belong in our 'all' category!
Next up, we sharpen our listening skills with some oral blending exercises. I sound out words, and you get to join in! After that, we tackle some new words that include the 'all' sound, and I challenge you with the tricky word 'laptop'! We also take a moment to revisit some words we've learned recently, like 'hat' and 'fox', and introduce our new tricky word, 'he'. It's so much fun to say them all together!
As we wrap up Day 19, we play a game to recall our focus sounds. I take away a sound, and you guess which one is missing. You did an amazing job today! Don't forget to give yourself a pat on the back for all your hard work. I can't wait to see you again tomorrow for more phonics fun!
