In this episode we help dad by building a water wheel to generate electricity because the batteries ran out in his cabin. We scrounged around the garage for parts the fun construction project, and hauled everything on a trailer towed by the snowmobile! Then we play a fun game with toy construction trucks to make a hydroelectric dam.

Dad is camping in the cabin we built in the woods, but his lantern runs out of batteries and he doesn’t have any spare! The next day Kid Crew drives up to the cabin on his snowmobile to check on dad and finds out there’s a problem. He suggests that the boys build a water wheel to generate electricity and they start looking for parts. First they go to the Kid Crew ride on junkyard where unused trucks are stored to get a DC electric motor. Then they go into the garage to get scrap wood that can be used to make the water wheel. Then they load up the supplies on a sled that hitches to the back of the snowmobile like a trailer. Then Kid Crew drives the trailer and supplies back to the steam. Next the two boys get to work on their construction site building their project with tools. They test the water wheel and it works! Then they install the water wheel in the stream and wire it to the cabin. Dad’s going to love camping out with an electrical connection. Then Kid Crew drives home on his snowmobile through a ton of wet slush and mud before dark, leaving dad to sleep in the cabin. Then we play along at home with Bruder construction Toys and a Tonka dump truck. A house was just built and needs power, so we install a hydro electric generator. First we use a backhoe to build a dam. Then we use its digger arm to lower in a pipe like a crane. Then we install the generator and wire it to the house. The pond fills that is connected to the dam and then pushes on the toy Lego generator. In the educational segment we learn how hydropower works.

Come pretend play with us! Join us kids, toddlers, girls, and boys as we use our ride on toy trucks, toy tractors, and toy equipment to do construction, farming, and home improvement pretend play projects. While we play our games and drive our vehicles, we learn about engineering, science, STEM, and how things work in our educational segment.

Thank you for watching Kid Crew!
